Eager to transform your love for food to a full-blown profession? This is the programme for you. In just a year, students learn valuable skills in preparing delectable food, presenting them in ways that are pleasing to the eye, and managing kitchens in a real-world setting.
Every angle is covered. Students also learn product standards; healthy eating; baking and pastry arts; cost control; wines and more. Upon completion, they take on positions as a chef de partie, first cook, sous chef, chef de cuisine or line cook.
Graduates are set to reap rewards on the career front. Today’s culinary industry is growing and it will continue to do so in years to come, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
