Boundless career opportunities

Surroundings that inspire

Home to the most aircraft in the province of Ontario, Canadore College truly is a leader in aircraft maintenance and avionics instruction. In fact, it has been since 1972. Where better to gear up for a dynamic career in an industry hungry for talent? Projections show that nearly 5,000 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are ready to retire after long, fulfilling careers.

Despite pandemic-inflicted travel restrictions, several aspects of the aviation business have stayed afloat. Passenger flights may have been cancelled, however, cargo airlines have increased flights dramatically.

Corporate jets transported business leaders across the globe when commercial airlines could not be of service. In turn, the maintenance and modification sector’s boom prevailed.

Simply put, joining the aviation industry is a fruitful choice for anyone determined to master in-demand expertise.

Located in the beautiful city of North Bay, Ontario, Canadore College is home to three campuses — the Aviation Campus, the Commerce Court Campus, and the Education Centre. They are set on a 650-acre piece of land that overlooks the city.

Outside the classroom, students enjoy delicious cuisines in diverse restaurants; immerse themselves in the arts with live theatre and community festivals; shop until they drop at one of the city’s many shops and boutiques; and spruce up for a night hopping from one hotspot to another.

The outdoors are just as exciting. North Bay — nestled between two beautiful lakes — is home to countless lakes, rivers, forests, canoe routes, and trail systems that provide endless opportunities for natural exploration.
