During a visit to Bucknell, Sean O'Connor impressed Professor Felipe Perrone with his enthusiasm, leading to an invitation to join a research group. O'Connor, whose passion for robotics is fueled by personal experiences, envisions robots safeguarding people from dangerous jobs. His research, focused on the HRIStudio platform, aims to make robotics accessible to non-experts.

Beyond academics, O'Connor leads the Chem-E Car Club and develops innovative projects, including software for a kettle sensor. His diverse interests and experiences, including a study-abroad trip, have fueled his interest in graduate school, a path he never thought he would consider.
