The art of filmmaking needs to be nurtured and honed. This Advanced Film Production program has five principal domains of live-action film development: directing, producing, production design, cinematography and post-production. Over the two years, students will build their knowledge by examining what is at the heart of filmmaking, including its colourful history and gradual progression — from technological advancements to stylistic iterations — over time.

There are many exciting courses to look forward to, including the Grammar of Cinematographic Storytelling; Screenwriting: The Mechanics and Mythology of Storytelling, Script Development and Pitching; Production Design I: Developing Design Concepts from Script to Screen; and Post Production II: Visual Effect.
