Offers Master’s programs in Latin and Classics (Latin and Greek). Both prepare graduates aiming to pursue doctoral studies or for careers in teaching at the secondary level.

Offers an MA and a PhD program with studies spanning a wide range of time periods, authors and critical and theoretical focuses. Both programs offer a broad array of courses across many literary and historical periods, with areas of focus including: genre and form, interdisciplinary and methodological approaches to literature, contemporary research methods and literary theory.

Offers MA and PhD programs with specializations in British & Irish history, medieval history, US history, and modern European history. Emerging areas of faculty expertise and graduate student interest include South Asian history, East Asian history, and Latin American history.

Offers both an MA and a PhD program with specializations in Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Phenomenology and Contemporary Continental Philosophy, Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Religion, Epistemology, and Philosophy of Science. The department is also home to two interdisciplinary degree options: a joint Master’s program in Philosophy and Theology and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, Law and Policy.

Offers Master of Arts degrees in French, Italian and Hispanic studies. The degree aims to prepare students to enter doctoral programs, to teach one of the Romance languages, or to take up professional positions in fields including education, business or publishing.

Offers a PhD program with specializations in Biblical Studies, Comparative Theology, Theological Ethics, History of Christian Life and Thought, and Systematic Theology. A joint Master's program in Philosophy and Theology allows students to take graduate courses offered by both departments.
