With students and faculty from around the world, AIHM offers a truly international learning environment. And it was this global community that shaped Zhasmin's experience. 

Originally from Kazakhstan, she chose hospitality because she wanted a career that could take her around the world. “From the moment I met AIHM lecturers and saw the campus and programme structure, I knew right away that it was the right institution for me,” she says. er cohort had 14 nationalities. When they work together or even just interact, it really makes her more culturally aware, a key trait to thrive in the hospitality industry.

“People from different cultures have different ways of communicating and approaching conflict, so you have to be adaptable,” she says. “You also become more versatile when it comes to communicating with different people. I think it's a really valuable experience at AIHM.”
